"Beloved, if you are living your faith complacent and at ease, rather ask God to give you suffering for Christ.
God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability
When you are living out your faith with ease, not being able to seek the Lord and hard to let go of our greed
Then let us ask the Lord to give us suffering. Suffering for Christ cleanses us from those things and it is a gift that makes us hold on to Christ.
1 Cor 10 : 12-13
Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall. No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
